Senior Implementation Engineer

Job Summary:

Tego Data is looking for a Senior Implementation Engineer to join our established and growing Technology Strategy Consultancy. Role Description:

  • Primarily work from home, but expected to join a few hours of meetings in the Raleigh/Cary area 1 or 2 days per week
  • Support customer questions or issues via Email, Slack, Zoom, etc
  • Be available to team build with coworkers and customers after working hours
  • Serve as the Devops and Automation technical lead within the Engineering team. Maintain subject matter expertise and deliver thought leadership in this technology segment going forward.
    • Experience deploying and maintaining infrastructure as code is a requirement for this position
    • No consideration will be given to candidates who are unable to script/automate against common Infrastructure elements
  • Work on a team of high performing sales engineers and solution architects, designing solutions on behalf of our customers that exceed their expectations
    • Example technologies include: Storage, Security, Virtualization, Backup, SD-WAN, etc
  • Assist maintaining and scaling Tego Data’s VMware and NetApp based Cloud platforms
  • Perform field installation work in customer data centers, primarily but not exclusively in North Carolina. You may be asked to travel outside of NC a few times per year in this capacity.
  • Achieve and maintain assigned manufacturer training and certifications
    • AWS Solution Architect – Associate will be assigned training to be completed with corresponding certification within the first 6 months
    • Study under already certified coworkers
  • Attend relevant industry conferences, briefings and workshops
  • Assist technical leadership with product research and identifying strategic solutions for our portfolio

Senior Account Manager

Job Summary:

Tego Data is seeking an experienced, professional, and goal-oriented Senior Account Manager responsible for new business development. This role will require the ability to perform quality prospecting, lead response and relationship building. You will evaluate customers’ needs alongside the engineering team and work with our sales support team to propose full stack solutions.

Essential Functions:

Job Requirements:

  • Successful outside sales experience in the information technology industry, with a documented history of new business development
  • Demonstrate the ability to qualify, penetrate, and close new accounts
  • Develop solid business relationships within the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each target account
  • Proven track record of managing multiple sales campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to carry a sales campaign from inception to close and attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with employees across functions and in remote locations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to support.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, planning, and organization skills
  • A minimum of 4 to 6 years related experience is required
  • 25% travel is expected

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of data storage, server virtualization, networking, security and cloud concepts and their value proposition.
  • General understanding of sales tracking tools such as SalesForce CRM is a plus.

Job Summary:

Function as a Sales Support Representative, providing support to multiple Account Executives, customers, and other team members. This support includes generating internal and external price quotations and proposals, assisting with prospecting, cross-selling and upselling, communicating with customers proactively via phone and email, project documentation, order processing, sales administration and logistics.
