Inc., the leading media brand and playbook for the entrepreneurs and business leaders shaping our future, revealed that Tego is No. 94 on its fifth annual Inc. Regionals: Mid-Atlantic list. This is the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the Mid-Atlantic, which includes Delaware, Maryland, D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. An extension of the national Inc. 5000 list, the Regionals offer a unique look at the most successful companies within the Mid-Atlantic economy’s most dynamic segment–its independent small businesses.
“Earning a place on the Inc. Regionals Mid-Atlantic list again is incredibly humbling,” said Nolan Smith, CEO of Tego. “This is another remarkable achievement for Tego, illustrating our dedication to customer excellence.”
The companies on this list exhibit a remarkable growth rate across all industries in the Mid-Atlantic region. Between 2021 and 2023, these 137 private companies had a median growth rate of 95 percent; by 2023, they’d added 7,266 jobs and $4.9 billion to the region’s economy.
This is the second time Tego has been included on this list. Tego has also been named to the Inc. Best Workplaces list in 2023 and 2024 and the Inc. 5000 list in 2022 and 2024.
“The honorees on this year’s Inc. Regionals list are true trailblazers driving economic growth in their respective regions, industries, and beyond. This list celebrates their achievements and tells the stories of remarkable companies fueling growth and adding jobs in local economies throughout the country,” said Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc.
