Save the Data – SLED

Wednesday, Jun 4, 2025

11:30am – 3:30pm

It’s the middle of the night. Your phone rings and your heart sinks as the person on the other end reads the ransom note. All your data—even your backups—is encrypted, and they want $1 million. Fortunately, this is only an immersive cyber incident experience without risk.

If you’ve ever wondered what a ransomware attack looks and feels like, Save the Data is a great way to find out. This tabletop exercise simulates a ransomware attack, giving you a front-row seat to the action. This event is an excellent way to prepare for and practice for a real-life ransomware attack. The discussion will highlight gaps that IT and InfoSec teams can address before it’s too late.

Save the Data will help attendees:

  • Understand the anatomy of a cyber incident.
  • Identify gaps in your security posture that you can bring to your leaders to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Put yourself in the shoes of IT personnel to gain a complete understanding of what your peers and contemporaries are experiencing.

Attendees will also hear directly from Tego and Rubrik’s experts, who have been on the front lines of ransomware attacks and will share their expertise on managing risk effectively.

This event is tailored to state, city, and county IT leaders and higher education institutions. Space is limited, so register now!
