Maximizing Efficiency and Security: The Benefits of Upgrading Your Infrastructure

The frequency at which organizations should upgrade their infrastructure depends on a variety of factors, including the specific technology being used, the overall performance and stability of the infrastructure, and the needs of your business. In general, it is recommended to regularly review and update your infrastructure, including hardware and software, to ensure that it remains secure, efficient, and able to meet the evolving needs of your business.

Tego has extensive experience in helping organizations upgrade their infrastructure. We recently completed a large project with a city in North Carolina. This client was experiencing reliability and redundancy issues with their network. “I think what made the biggest impact on this client was the fact that we went on site to get to know their environment,” said Josh Gibbs, Solutions Architect at Tego. “Upon completing the assessment, we realized they need to consolidate and virtualize their network to perform more efficiently.”

Tego’s Professional Services team did several things to improve the efficiency including:

  • Refreshed outdated equipment
  • Transitioned to a virtualized environment with VMware
  • Deployed Rubrik for data protection and NetApp for scalable storage
  • Redesigned network architecture to provide a streamlined data flow

This project is in progress, meeting expectations and is sure to deliver excellent results for this customer. “Data will now be able to flow more efficiently with the network redesign and this organization will not experience the type of latency or redundancy issues they were experiencing before, and they will sleep well at night knowing data is protected with Rubrik,” said Gibbs.

Tego solutions are built using top-performing and efficient technology solutions. We work with industry-leading partners such as NetApp, Palo Alto, Rubrik, Veeam, and VMware and have a wide bench of technical expertise to implement any solution.
