At Tego Data, we are focused on deploying and managing infrastructure and as a result, we’ve become pretty good at it.

We have taken the experience of helping hundreds of customers architect and deploy their production storage and virtualization environments and applied what we have learned into building our Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Cloud platform. Subsequently the Tego Cloud was designed and implemented with a focus on creating a highly resilient, scalable, secure, and cost efficient platform for our customers.

Our first objective was to find a location within the US that had low incidents of natural disasters, which led us to Texas. The fact that Texas operates on its own power grid was an ancillary benefit.

After a significant amount of research, we settled on building our infrastructure platform in Data Foundry…a newly built, $150 million dollar, 250,000 square foot, carrier neutral, Tier 4 data center located in Austin, Texas.

Combining best of breed technology from companies like NetApp, VMware, Juniper and Fujitsu our engineers went to work on building, testing and re-testing our infrastructure to ensure our customers a fast, reliable and easy to work with platform.
